Task 8

Throughout my life, I have learned several communication skills. I was a House Leader in Primary School, meaning I had to dedicate to weekly tasks to keep my house moving forward, along with making speeches in weekly assemblies to a crowd of around 350 people. In Secondary school, I was a prefect, and in charge of keeping the atmosphere safe and friendly during break duty. I was part of Interact Club, a fundraising charity group, and took part in many sales for different charities like RSPCA and Diabetes UK, where I contributed many ideas towards fundraising and was often the one whose ideas were approved, and when I turned 16, I spent a year working for Sainburys, doing 6am-11am shifts on the Online department, online shopping. At this time, the pandemic had only just settled in, and I was part of a large-scale team which communicated well in order to pick, pack and deliver Redhill’s shopping during the busiest time in years. Therefore, my social skills are wide and I am able to communicate with anyone well in order to keep productivity.
